This is a great knife set! It included 19 pieces, 8 of them being steak knives. I thought that was a good amount, especially for hosting dinners with more than just a few people. The other knives composed of various purposes. One thing I liked about this product was that the box listed the uses for each knife. I think that that's important for novice cooks like myself because I'd typically use any knife that's available. Another huge plus about this product is that it had a knife sharpener attached to the side of the knife block. I've spent more money on other knife sets where the sharpener wasn't at all included... overall, great buy!

After many days of research comparing similar products, I went with this set. I love them! The block is compact, the knives are sharp, and they fit on my counter with no problem. I have had no issues thus far. I do wish that the set came with a sheet as to where to place the knives in the block because there is one small knife that is crooked in the block. Other than that, this set is perfect for the price.
